How To Clean Your Stove & Stove Parts Naturally

Making sure your stove and stove parts are clean is an important step in keeping your stove in good condition. Properly cleaning your stove and stove parts will also ensure the longevity of your stove and the consistency of your food. There is a natural cleaner that you may want to consider; it will allow you to clean without using harmful ingredients.

How The Natural Stove Cleaner Works

Grime and debris can enter certain parts of your stove and damage important components. Some debris may even get on the food you cook, which can affect the quality of your food.

Thankfully, you can eliminate the debris or grime on your stove and stove parts with the following recipe. One of the ingredients that you will be using is baking soda. Baking soda is a powerful cleaning agent, and best of all, it is also inexpensive. One of the reasons that baking soda is such a good cleaning agent is because it is an abrasive compound. The abrasiveness of baking soda is gentle yet tough enough to lift grime and debris from your stove and stove parts without scratching the surface.

Baking soda also has a neutral pH balance. Bacteria are naturally acidic and die with alkaline substances like baking soda. This positive pH balance weakens the biofilm formed by bacteria to stick to surfaces and will also neutralize any smells they may produce.

You will also be using vinegar in your cleaning solution. Vinegar, just like baking soda, is a natural cleaner that will help keep you cooking area eco-friendly. Vinegar helps because of the reaction that it will have with baking soda. The carbon created by these two ingredients will expand and make it easier to lift grime from your stove and stove parts.

As you can see, cleaning your stove can be done cheaply while being environmentally conscious. Now you can move on to the natural solution.

The Stove-Cleaning Solution

You will need the following to make your solution:

  • 1/2 cup of baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 2 tablespoons of vinegar
  • Spray bottle
  • And your regular cleaning supplies like a cloth or sponge

To use this solution, just follow the steps below:

  1. Blend the baking soda and the 3 tablespoons of water into a paste. Use this paste on the surface of your stove, especially on tough grime or stains.
  2. Leave the paste for a few minutes.
  3. Put some vinegar in a spray bottle, and top it off with warm water. Spritz this solution over the baking soda and let it sit for about 7-10 minutes. Then simply wipe it away.

That should work for most surface stains and grime. Call your professional supplier, like those at K & D Factory Service Inc, if the stains and grime are not coming off, as you may need a stronger cleaning method or tools.
